A copper-alloy medieval buckle pin dating to c. AD 1100-1450. Formed from a sheet rather than cast. Rectangular shaped section with a pointed tip, the loop has been formed by bending the shaft into shape. Similar to Egan and Pritchard, Dress Accessories, page 90-91, nos. 397 and 415 also similar to page 94, no. 422.
