Sceat. Sceat of Series R, cf. Abramson R100, East Anglian issue of 710-765. Probably treated with oil by the finder, which is now partially removed.

Obverse description: Bust diademed on pyramidal cuirassed shoulders right, large angular nose, OV to left, runic characters resembling VNWX to right. Eight pellets in a loose arc around left side of flan. Exergual line.

Reverse description: Rectangular standard, diagonal lines within two corners and extending out from all four; degenerate TOT in standard, straight line extending from centre of each side with a pellet beside it or pellets flanking it.

Diameter: 12.5mm, Weight: 0.95gms, die axis: possibly 12.
