Six incomplete copper-alloy Medieval mounts, dating to the perod c. AD 1270-1450.

1. Flat, undecorated lozenge shaped mount. Three seperate rivet holes. Rivets are missing. One in the top and bottom corners of the lozenge and one in the centre. 14.23mm length. 9.18mm width. 0.45mm thickness. 0.18g.

2. Simple bar-mount with central ridge and flat reverse. Edges are incised with small horizontal lines creating the look of dots. Two seperate rivets, one at each end of the bar with rivets still surviving. There is a central hole in the middle of the bar. Similar to Egan and Pritchard, Dress Accessories, page 211-2, no. 1137 although this example is missing the central hole and grooved edge decoration. 21.66mm width. 5.58mm length. 1.62mm thickness. 4.8mm height including the rivets. 1.25g.

3. Simple solid bar-mount with central ridge and flat reverse. The edges of the bar have been lightly incised with diagonal lines. Single hole through the centre with two seperate integral rivets, one set each side of the central hole. Similar to Egan and Pritchard, Dress Accessories, page 211-2, no. 1132. 9.94mm width. 7.41mm length. 1.60mm thickness. 4.02mm height including rivets. 0.58g.

4. Quatrefoil mount, flat lobes with a domed centre. Two seperate rivet holes have been made in opposite lobes. Rivets are missing. Similar to Egan and Pritchard, Dress Accessories, page185, no. 942 but does not have a hole in the domed centre. 21.57mm in length. 21.15mm in width. 3.67mm in height. 1.02g.

5. Domed sexfoil stamped mount. One single rivet hole through the domed centre. Rivet is missing. Similar to Egan and Pritchard, Dress Accessories, page 189, no. 952. 13.71mm in diameter. 4.62mm in height. 0.87g.

6. Domed sexfoil mount, trimmed to shape. Two seperate rivet holes have been made in opposite lobes. One rivet is missing. Similar to Egan and Pritchard, Dress Accessories, page 189, no. 961. 15.9mm in length. 16.55mm width. 3.97mm in height. 0.59g.
