Copper alloy strap end. Two short sheet metal plates with rounded ends and a terminal knop, attached to each other and the strap [now lost] by two rivets, one of head diameter 1.8mm, set at either end. Both outer sides are plated in white metal; the plates are parted from each other at the inner end of the object as worn. Suggested date: Medieval, 1270-1400.
