A Post Medieval copper alloy incomplete furniture fitting called a drop handle, used as a drawer pull, c. 1660-1710 AD.
The fitting is broadly trefoil in shape and would have had a rectangular suspension loop which is now broken and missing. The handle/pull is sub-trapezoidal in shape, it is bifurcated with rearward lugs scrolling to each side. decorated with leaf-like moulding with diagonal incisions. The length is 28mm, the width is 27mm and the weight 3.86g.
