Obverse description: Bare bust facing left.
Obverse inscription: IMP NERO CAESAR AVG P MAX TR POT PP

Reverse description: Victory advancing left with shield inscribed SPQR.
Reverse inscription: SC

Dimensions: diameter: 27.47mm; thickness: 3.01mm; weight: 7.90g.

Notes:

This coin is too worn to positively attribute it to either the Rome or Lugdunum mint, though Lugdunum was the main supplier of base metal coinage to Britain at this time.
