A lead alloy cloth or bag seal. One side is stamped with a complex monogram in the form of an interlaced double C, with small five pointed flower in the centre and trefoil between the arches. There are other letters, possibly an L or J in one half of the design and an illegible letter on the other side. The device is contained within a border of pellets. The other side is stamped 2 IB. Late17th-18th century.
