An incomplete copper-alloy Medieval composite strap-end, dating to AD 1270-1400. It is a narrow sub-rectangular sheet of metal, which is broken towards the attachment end. The opposite end slightly tapers and terminates in a central rounded knob; one edge of the latter end is broken through the rivet hole. The faces are undecorated and the sheet is slightly bent in the middle.
