Copper alloy button. A probably die-stamped slightly concavo-convex discoid plain button front, retaining corroded spurs of a drawn wire loop bedded in a dark tarry fixative; the loop has deteriorated more completely than the button front. The front retains faint traces of an outer circle, possibly framing elements denoting a uniform button. Suggested date: Modern, 1900-1950
