A complete copper alloy post medieval button, dating from the late 15th to 16th century AD. The head of the button is domed, with the underneath being flat. It is decorated with incised lines running down the sides of the button head, the centre of which is undecorated. The integral attachment loop projects from underneath the head of the button, it is rectangular shaped, flat, with a rounded edge that widens slightly. The loop has a circular hole. The button has a mid green patina. It measures 14.7mm in height, 11.5mm in diameter, and weighs 3.72g.

The button is similar to one in Read 2005, page 31, number 103.
