An incomplete, clipped and worn Medieval silver penny of Edward IV (1471-1483), minted at York and probably dating to the period c. 1472-1476. No marks by bust, so probably a cede vacant issue (North 1991: 94, refs: 1647 or 1651).

Obverse: [ ]; Crowned bust facing, no marks by bust.

Reverse: [CIVI/TAS/EBO]/RAC[I]; Long cross dividing the inscription with three pellets in each quadrant, quatrefoil at centre of cross.

Diameter: 14.0mm. Weight: 0.41g. DA=12:12.
