Two Late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age fragments of tertiary flint implements. The fragments are trapezoidal in shape and are worked bifacially. One fragment is of translucent pale grey flint with a covering, stepped and low angle retouch on one side and semi-abrupt on the other; it has slightly convex faces and is transversally broken at the proximal end. The second fragment is of translucent pale brown flint with a covering, sub-parallel semi-abrupt retouch all along, except for the proximal end wheer there is a transverse break; it has considerably convex faces giving a pointed oval cross section.
First fragment measures 15.7 mm in length, 14.1 mm in width, 2.7 mm in thickness and weighs 0.59 g.
Second fragment measures 18.2 mm, 15.6mm wide, 5.mm thick1 and weighs 1.63.
Due to their incomplete nature it is not possible to be certain about the complete tool, however large numbers of barbed and tanged arrowheads were found nearby and the thinner piece is likely to be from one while the thicker maye be from a knife or similar.
