Slightly more than half of an approximately square medieval copper alloy buckle frame with a tapering strip pin on the central bar. The engraved decoration on the very edge and sides is very close to that on Egan and Pritchard 1991, no. 447. File marks are present on the reverse, and also on the front of the bar. Estimated length 41mm. Width 40mm. c.1350 - c.1450.
n.b. another incomplete example of the same type has been recorded form this site (NMS-1A9FF4).
