A copper-alloy radiate of Carausius (AD 286-293) dating to the period AD 286-293 (Reece period 14). VIRTVS AVG reverse type depicting Mars standing right with spear and shield. Unattributed Mint. The obverse legend does appear to be IMP C CARAVSIVS P F AV which is otherwise not recorded in Sam Moorhead's coprus for RIC.
This has been noted as an interesting find by the recorder.
