A complete flint Notched Scraper of Neolithic date (3450-2100 BC). The lithic is sub-rectangular in plan and concavo-convex in section. The dorsal surface is slightly convex and has three predominant negative scar and retains some cortex across the right hand edge. The proximal and distal ends have been blunted, and the right hand edge projects out, to form a notched aspect. All edges with the exception of the proximal end, have fine semi-abrupt retouch. The ventral surface is slightly concave and retains a small blub of percussion situated at the proximal end with shallow ripples of percussion emanating from it. The ventral surface has a single shallow negative scar situated at the distal end.
The flint is dark grey in colour with light grey inclusions throughout. The cortex is light brown.
The lithic retains some cortex and is therefore a secondary flake.
