An incomplete cast copper alloy medieval bar mount from a casket (c. 1200-1400). The object has zoomorphic decoration on the front surface, and is plain on the reverse. One half of the mount is plain and has a triangular cross-section. The other half is almost rectangular in cross-section and is decorated with a moulded animal head. The bar has been broken across the single rivet holes at either end. See FAKL-9555C1 . Ref. Margeson (1993), p 78, no.473, and Coad (1982) fig 43.
