A complete uniface lead token dating to the Post Medieval period (c. AD 1500 - 1800). The obverse has a raised linear design, like the letter E with its mirrored reverse alongside with another less pronounced linear design above and to the left, forming almost a square handle for the box formed by the two letters E. There is a raised external border around the outside edge of the obverse. The reverse of the token is blank, apart from a slight indentation possibly formed from the formation of the obverse design . The object has a midbrown patina.

The overall dimensions are as follows: 25.15mm in diameter, 2.85mm in thickness and 9.19g in weight.

Lead tokens had a wide variety of potential uses such as tallies, gaming pieces, tickets, weights, etc. and are believed to have been locally produced; they are therefore difficult to date precisely.

The Powell classification system, in which there are over 30 categories, attempts to classify these leaden tokens according to the designs featured on each face, but it does not assign any chronology.. Under the powell classification this would be class '2. initials'. Those carrying initials are generally deemed to be post-Medieval in date (1500-1850).
