A two part lead cloth seal of the Norwich Weavers Company, circa late 17th century, 17.7mm in diameter, stamped W(OR)/STED/REFOR/MED. Reverse has traces of a stamped letter C or curved design.
Notes:
Worsted was a lighter type of woollen cloth made using stronger and finer threads, originally produced by the spinners of Worsted in Norfolk. See Elton (2017), p112, Egan (1994) no. 89. as well as SWYOR-2CB19D, LON-CF3834, PUBLIC-8FC4A8 and BERK-949CCB
