A cast copper-alloy ring of a type often suggested to be medieval or post-medieval harness rings (Geake, 2001, Finds Recording Guide, page 73) dating from AD 1200 - 1800, though they are typically undiagnostic. It is 26.2mm in diameter and 4mm thick. It weighs 7.36gm. It is hexagonal in cross section, but with the inner edge worn. There are filemarks visible on the outer faces, and the outer edge is not circular, having one flat area.
