Lead weight, in the form of a flat solid disc with slightly sloping sides. It measures 32.0mm in diameter and is 6.3mm thick, with a uniform grey/white patination. It appears to be undecorated, apart from a line of four shallow dents on the reverse, although all surfaces are worn with some plough damage, and these dents may be post-depositonal.
It weighs 43.1g, which is around 1½ ounces averdepois/avoirdupois.
Could be any date from Roman to post-medieval.
