A ceramic vessel wall sherd of Medieval date, about AD 1200 - 1500. The fabric is fairly soft and gritty, irregular in texture with frequent poorly sorted quartz inclusions and some small dull red inclusions, as well as frequent mica. It has an orange outer face and buff inner face with a grey core. It is 32mm long, 25.8mm wide and 6.9mm thick. 6.1g.
