A retouched flint flake of probable Neolithic or Bronze Age date, c. 4000-1500 BC. The tool has been manufactured from a tertiary flake of fine-grained brownish grey translucent flint, with a prominent bulb of percussion on its ventral face inferring hard-hammer percussion. The platform is irregular in form and cortical, while the dorsal left edge demonstrates inverse scalar low-angle retouch. Preserved in fresh condition with no patination visible, it measures 30.48mm in length, 31.55mm in width, and 6.28mm thick at its midpoint. It weighs 5.78g.
