Cast hollow conical object with a thinner part of its wall bearing a small hole, probably at the site of a casting flaw, and with a longitudinal moulded aperture of diameter 8.5mm. A possible tying notch appears at the upper end [as illustrated]. Patinated. Suggested date: Medieval, 1200-1500.
