A complete copper-alloy button dating from the Late-Medieval to Post-Medieval period (c. AD 1450-1600). The head is roughly hemispherical in form with an integral sub-rectangular in section attachment loop that extends centrally from the underside of the head. The button measures 15 mm in length and 10mm in diameter. The button weighs 3.2 grams.
