Cast copper Roman brooch of 'T' shaped form, incomplete, the foot being missing. The bow is divided into three, longitudinal panels by two ribs. These are separated from the foot by two transverse grooves, below which are two, angled grooves. The bow is angled at the point where it meets the two wings. These are round sectioned and contain traces of iron pin (revealed by a magnet). Between the wings is a notch into which was fitted a self-tensioned pin. On the end of the head are the remains of a loop. Length 26.0mm, Width 15.8mm Height 10.2mm, Mass 3.80g.
