A worn and abraded Medieval copper-alloy French Tournois jetton (1373-1437). Chatel of Tournois type, As Mitchiner 1988: 187, ref: 505.

Obverse: Formal Chatel Tournois design with lis above its central triangle and annulets on top of the lateral 'turrets'. A fleur de lys in field to either side of the chatel, all within an inner circle. Legend: '+AVE MARIA GRACIA PL;'

Reverse: Triple stranded straight cross fleuretty within a double-stranded quatrefoil, Legend in the external angles of the quatrefoil. Legend: '.A.-.V.-.E.-.D. ' Cinquefoil stops

Measurements: 22.45mm in diameter, 1.33mm thick and 2.67g in weight
