Copper alloy buckle. Cast sub-ovoid symmetrical buckle frame with a separate steel spindle [now lost]. The outer edges are expanded, and the sides slightly concave and moulded at the spindle housings. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1660-1720AD. The length is 20mm, the width is 12mm and the weight 1.36g.
