Obverse description: Lion of St. Mark standing left, winged and nimbate with the halo interrupting the marginal inscription and surmounted by a cross pattee, holding the book of Gospels in right fore-paw
Obverse inscription: B[..] O SANTO Z [..] ANVD [..]
Reverse description: Imperial orb surmounted by a cross pattee within a double tressure of three arches and three angles. There are two annulets, one on either side of each of the three angle points, so six annulets in all.
