An incomplete and worn post-Medieval copper-alloy button (1700-1800).

The shank is missing.

This button has a circle of indentations resembling a sunburst. There are similar indentations forming a border. The stub of a shank survives at the back.

This button is drab brown.

Diameter: 29.0mm; thickness including stub: 2.9mm. Weight: 3.96g.

A similar button has been published and dated 1700-1800 (Bailey 2004: 62, fig. 9, ref: 170).
