A flint retouched blade of probable Early Neolithic date, about 4000 BC - 3300 BC. It is formed on a tertiary blade of high quality tan coloured flint and is sub-rectangular in plan with ournded ends, and semi-circular in cross-section. Thereis a double dorsal ridge. There is short, semi-abrupt parallel retouch on the left side in the centre only, very neatly executed. The blade is 30.4mm long, 8.6mm wide and 3.3mm thick. 0.9g.
