A worn two-part lead alloy cloth seal dating to 1508 -1553. One face of the seal depicts a king enthroned, holding a spear and sceptre with the Arms of England visible on his tabbard. The letter H can be seen between the king's legs with a legend SIG[ILLVM CVS]TOM HENRY VIII. These cloth seals were used for imports of fine patterned cloth.
