A fragment of glass probably from a vessel of probable Roman date, AD 43 - 410. The fragment is a undulating rod of roughly D shaped section, broken at both ends. It is formed from very pale blue glass with no visible striations or bubbles. It could be a detatched piece of decorative trailing. It is 47mm long, 9.6mm wide and 7mm thick. 5g.
