Copper alloy strap end. A rectangular plate of sheet metal of thickness 0.6mm, folded and with drilled holes of diameter c.2mm, three on one side and one on the other. A rivet of diameter 2.3mm and length 2.7mm passes through the ends of the folded plate attaching them to each other. Suggested date: Medieval, 1200-1400.
