Copper alloy ?and iron brooch fragment. Cast head and upper bow of a tiny hinged trumpet brooch, Mackreth type TR4; the middle and lower bow are lost. A plain trumpet head conceals a cylindrical case retaining an axis bar, possibly of iron, for a hinged pin [lost]. Abraded. Suggested date: Early Roman, 75-150.
