Medieval or Post Medieval copper alloy diamond shaped quatrefoil mount, 36.4mm in length by 31.4mm in width. The design comprises four diamond-shaped lobes terminating in small teardrop shaped knops around 4mm long. The reverse is concave with the remains of a single iron fixing lug. Circa 15th-17th century.
