A copper-alloy probable furniture fitting. The fitting is mis-shapen.

A cast loop of circular section ending in a flared terminal at each end. Below each terminal is a raised shoulder. Both terminals have a hole for fitting onto a pin. One terminal still has the remains of the pin corroded in place.

The fitting was probably part of a small box. The total length of the fitting is 72mm. The diameter of the shaft is 2.8mm flaring to 6.0mm at the terminals. The fitting weighs 3.06g and has a green patina.
