Early medieval to Medieval lead alloy spindle whorl, 23mm in diameter, 5mm thick with a weight of 14.94grams. The whorl has been mis-cast and is sub circular in form and trapezoidal in cross section. It is plain and has a central circular hole 7mm in diameter. The whorl conforms to Walton Rogers class A2 or B.
