A sub-triangular copper-alloy mount of unknown date or purpose.

The main body of the mount is semi-circular in profile with five pairs of protruding lines equally spaced along its length. The rear of the body is hollow with an opening at the top end and closed at the bottom.

Either side at the top of the mount are two knops. Both of these have a recessed dot and pellet at the top with ridges extending from this to the base. The rear of the knops have holes for iron rivets, one of which has partial remains.

The mount is 27.9mm high, 30.1mm wide, 8.8mm thick and weighs 17.45g. It has a mid green patina.
