A copper alloy struck Roman barbarous radiate of Claudius II, dating to the period c. AD 275-285. Reece Period 13. CONSECRATIO reverse type. Commemorative issue of the divinization of Claudius II after his death. The obverse has a broad outline of a radiate bust right, the legend is unreadable. The reverse is a Consecratio type, with eagle standing facing, head right, wings spread close with head up to right and tail right. The edge has some fritting and the surface has a mid-green, rough patina.
