An incomplete Middle Bronze Age copper-alloy palstave (c. 1500 BC-c. 1150 BC).
The blade and a small portion of the butt are missing. A break has occurred just below the stops.
The septum, wings and stops survive. The septum has a maximum thickness of 8.6mm
This palstave is corroded and green and has patches of a decayed dark green patina. The breaks are old.
