Half of a Post Medieval copper alloy double looped oval shaped buckle, missing the pin, dating to c.16th - 17th century. In the centre of the outer edges of each loop the frame widens to a triangular point. The frame of the buckle is D shaped in cross section and has a bevelled inner edge. The pin bar is round in cross section. The buckle is similar to Whitehead 1996, page 55 number 316.
