An incomplete cast copper-alloy object of uncertain function and date, possibly a Roman cosmetic instrument or toilet article. The object comprises a strip that tapers and becomes circular in cross-section with a pointed terminal at one end, and at the other end widens to become rectangular in cross section before flattening to form a short trapezoidal plate. The object measures 70.9 mm in length and a maximum of 28mm in width. It weighs 4.30 grams.
