A silver halfgroat of Elizabeth I, AD1558-1603, sixth issue coinage dating to AD1582-1600. Mint is London.

Obverse shows a crowned bust left, two pellets behind head. Obverse legend reads E.D.G. ROSA.SINE.SPINA. Obverse initial mark is an escallop AD1584-1586. Reverse shows a long cross-fourchee over a shield bearing the royal arms. Reverse legend reads CIVI/TAS/LON/DON. Reverse initial mark is an escallop. Die axis is 4 or 5 o'clock. Weight is 0.91g, diameter is 18.3mm, thickness is 0.6mm.
