Post medieval pottery vessel sherds. One rim sherd, four base sherds and ten body sherds of Midlands Purple ware pottery (1600 - 1720). The fabric of the sherds is a hard earthware with small rounded and sub-angular inclusions of grit and quartz. The colour of the inclusions varies however most are of a light yellow or white colour. The colour of the fabric is a purple grey with some of the sherds coated in a dark purple slip that appears burnished in some areas. Weight 481.6g.
