A complete post-Medieval copper-alloy circular uniface coin weight for a half angel (c. 1604-c. 1619).
The obverse depicts St. Michael spearing a dragon (spear to the right). St. Michael's legs are not clear. The reverse is flat and undecorated.
Diameter: 12.2mm; thickness: 2.5mm. Weight: 2.19g. (33.8 grains).
Due to wear and corrosion it falls below the standard weight of 35.5 grains (Withers and Withers 1995: 21 and 68).
