A worn and abraded copper-alloy French jetton of Tournai, dating to the Medieval period, likely issued during the reign of Charles VI of France c. 1385-1422. Obverse: Bifoliate crown with central fleur de lis. On the band of the crown are three flower rosettes, each is formed around a central annulet and consists of five petals. Legend: '+AV[E MARI]A GRATIA PLENA]. Reverse: Triple stranded cross with fleur shaped terminals. At the centre of the cross is quatrefoil. All within in tressure of four arches, with large fleurs on the cusps into the quarters of each cross. In the external angles is letters ' A/V/E/M'.

Measurements: 25.11mm in diameter, 1.12mm thick and 2.98g in weight.
