Grey flint possible backed blade. A thick pointed flake with broad flakes struck from its dorsal side by hard hammer, and with an undulating ventral surface. The removal of the smaller flake of two struck from the dorsal aspect may have afforded a flat surface enabling pressure to be brought to bear on a long convex cutting edge. The object is lightly and adventitiously chipped all around its edges, recently at its butt end. Suggested date: Neolithic, 4000-2350 BC.
