An incomplete copper-alloy and gilded object of Unknown date and uncertain function, possibly Roman or Early-Medieval (c. 43-c. 700).

The surviving part of the object is double-waisted (wavy) at each side and is sub-rectangular in cross-section. One end has a transverse break and the opposite end is curved and complete. The front has a longitudinal raised integral panel which is centrally situated on the plate. It has a length of 22.0mm, a width of 5.0mm and a height above the plate of c. 2.0mm.
