Palaeolithic (Upper) to Neolithic (Later) flake-blade, 52mm long, 28mm wide, 14mm thick and 20.4g in weight. Made on a flint/chert that has turned a light chalky grey through patination. This piece has been photographed in the wrong direction giving the impression it is an end scraper, however this end is actuallt the proximal end and no modification has taken place after removal. The butt is plain and quite small and the distal end is large and flat and displays evidence of it being a platform itself. The piece has been struck from a bidirectional blade core. The doral face possesses parallel ridges that attest to this.
