A copper alloy vessel fragment from the Medieval to Post-Medieval periods, circa 1250-1750, possibly from a cauldron or skillet. The rim is beaded internally and there are file markings on the internal surface. The rim has a straight wall on the outer surface which is pitted. Both surfaces are blackened suggesting sooting. The fragment is 29.07mm in length, 38.05mm in width and 4.36mm in thickness. It weighs 15.41g.
